Abstract

The study analyzes the structure of time and space in the novel “Qissah al – Mu’dhdhabun fi al- Ard” of Taha Husain. It provides responses to such questions: What is the function of the structure of time and space in the narrative? What are the technical aids for the structure of time and space? Adopting descriptive analytical method, the paper realizes that time plays a vital role in the sequence of events in the narrative and the author takes good advantage of it. It also realizes that the importance of space in the smooth organization of the narrative is not less than that of the time.

،يهدف  هذا المقال إلى استخلاص البنية الزمانية والمكانية في قصة " المعذبون في الأرض " لطه حسين مجيبا  على هذه الأسئلة: ما وظيفة بينة الزمان والمكان في القصة؟ وما هي التقنيات المساعدة للزمان  والمكان؟  وتمت بناء هندسة المقال على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وانتهى المقال بالتنائج التالية: أن للزمان دورا  كبيرا في تسيير أحداث القصة، وقد وفق الكاتب إلى توظيف تقنيات الزمان فيها، وأن المكان لا يقل . أهمية عن الزمان في تسيير أحداث القصة
